Stop saving for grandchildren

I personally believe most of corruption and crime happens because of this issue and I strongly think it is important concept to understand and believe in. This cannot be forced and has to imbibed into the mindset. Let me make a humble attempt at that!

The best wealth you can give your children and grandchildren is your and your spouse's perfect health. You should be in a position to do your own tasks until the last day of your life. Another dimension is, you should try your best for not being financially dependent on your children. You should earn enough to take care of fundamental needs of your children in their growing years (Ex: College fees..). Beyond that, your children should be encouraged to earn their own living and savings.

Once this concept is imbibed into the mindset, the obvious impact is – you will stop running after money. This eliminates one of the biggest source of stress in life. This provides flexibility to lead your life on your own terms. This allows you to do the job that you like and not the job that pays the most while you hate it. This allows you to have time for your hobbies, maintaining your health and serving your community.

This also eliminates the urge to cheat people or to get lured into corrupt practices to make money.
