Try to get at least 20 mins of sunlight every day
Sunlight is the easiest way to defeat illness. Spending at least 20 mins in sunlight gives us the required amount of vitamin D. The key is to ensure you do not overdo this and avoid sunburn. My recommendation is to spend time in the sun in morning and evening hours. There is a lot of research on what is the "best time of the day" to get the required sun exposure and many are contradicting! Hence I recommend a minimum of 20 mins per day. Dr B M Hegde says 90% of your illness will go away if you spend time in the sun. He says sunlight keeps the cells going and is the best way of preventing disease.
